Our Hearing Aid Services

Clark Hearing is an independent practice, which means we are able to carry hearing aids from any manufacturer we choose. We have the freedom to do what's best for our clients.

  • One manufacturer is not right for everybody. They each have their own strengths. Some manufacturers may be better at addressing specific complicated hearing challenges, while others provide the most advanced technology or are the most user-friendly out there. When you come to Clark Hearing, we'll consider the whole range of hearing aids we carry when determining which ones would be best for you.
  • There's a solution for everybody on every budget. That's one of the advantages of offering hearing aids from every major manufacturer; we never have to turn anyone away because we don't have the product that would fit them at their budget. With so many options, finances should never be a reason that you can’t experience better hearing.
  • Our "favorite" hearing aid brands depend on what's best for our clients. Although we do carry hearing aids from many different manufacturers, we gravitate toward specific manufacturers depending on which brands we’ve been impressed with at the time. Right now we're very pleased with Oticon and Widex, but that might be different if someone else brings out newer, more advanced technology.
  • We help veterans with hearing aid servicing. We want to help everyone experience better hearing, even if they purchased their hearing aids somewhere else. If you are not satisfied with your hearing aids then come see us so we can give you the best service possible. We also know that it can be difficult for veterans who received their hearing aids through the VA to get cleanings and adjustments. That’s why we offer veterans a discount on our services.

There's no such thing as the best hearing aids in the world, but there is such a thing as the best hearing aids for you. Of course, your hearing loss is an important factor to consider when we choose which hearing aids to recommend. But there's more to it than that. Your ideal hearing aids have to address what you need them for on a day-to-day basis. We consider:

  • Hearing loss: How profound is your hearing loss? Do you have any special hearing requirements?
  • Lifestyle: What environments do you need help hearing in? Are you often surrounded by noise, like in a restaurant or at a sporting event? Do you typically stay home with friends or watching TV?
  • Budget: What are you able to afford?

We always offer more than one option. We’ll recommend a hearing aid that we think will be the best fit, as well as budget friendly options that still address your hearing needs.

Personalizing Your Hearing Aids

We fit your hearing aids based on your needs, not just what the computer determines. While we start with your prescribed amplification as given to us by your hearing test, we don't just fit you with an automated computer program. Some hearing professionals just follow what the computer determines based on your hearing test. We don't believe that's enough. Hearing is personal, and your hearing aids need to be personalized to you. When we fit you with hearing aids, we ask you for your feedback, and that's what we use to tweak your settings. It's a little more work on our end, but we have low return rates because we're able to satisfy our clients' hearing needs the first time.

Bluetooth Connectivity

Many hearing aids today offer Bluetooth connectivity, which means your phone calls can be delivered wirelessly straight to your hearing aids. It's so exciting to see what a difference this technology has made for our clients whose family members call from long distance. Now, it's easier and more comfortable than ever to keep in touch. This same technology can work with your TV and with streaming music.
